2nd Post- How to bake Cheese Cake



Hello, I am here to introduce of how to bake a cheese cake easily by our own. There is a variety type of cheesecake that you could find in bakery shop, however some types of cheese cake are baked in a complex way. Thus I am here to share the most common and simplest way of baking plain cheese cake. When you have free time, you can bake a cheese cake for own self or sharing with family and friends or beloved one. Before bake the cake, you can go to some grocery shop to purchase ingredients.

Ingredients:

FOR THE CRUST:

1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar

1 tablespoon plus 1 1/2 teaspoons light-brown sugar

FOR THE FILLING:

6 eggs, separated to yolks and whites

1 cup plus 1 tablespoon granulated sugar

2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese

16 ounces sour cream

1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon, for dusting

PROCESS:

1.Firstly, use a food processor to crush whole graham crackers into crumbs (or by using a rolling pin and placing the crackers in a plastic bag). You have to crush 1 1/4 cups of graham cracker crumbs.

2.Then, add the melted butter and sugars and mix well. Press the crumb mixture onto the base and up the sides of the springform pan then chill for 1 hour.

3.Prepare a bowl, beat together 6 egg yolks and 1 cup sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until blended. After that, add the cream cheese, sour cream and vanilla extract to the mixture, and continue beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth.

4.Prepare another bowl, and then beat together the 6 egg whites with the 1 tablespoon of sugar until the egg whites form stiff. Then, slowly add the egg whites mixture to the cheesecake mixture.

5.Remove the chilled crust from the refrigerator, and then pour the cheesecake mixture into the pan. Use spatula to smooth the top and kindly add some ground cinnamon.

6.Put the cheesecake in a cold oven and then turn on the oven to 300 degrees F. Bake the cake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

7.After baking, turn the oven off and slightly open oven door to leave for cool for 30 minutes. Then you can remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely on a wire rack. Remove the pan sides and refrigerate the cake for about 6 hours or overnight.


Lists of above are the ingredients and process of baking a plain cheese cake, if you wish to make it tastier or nicer you can add some flavouring or some fruits as topping. Toppings recommended are such as blueberry, strawberry, lemon, chocolate, etc. It is a good idea for you to bake a cheese cake as a present when you wish to give a surprise to friends or beloved one.
